Die "Emergency Response Intervention Cards" (ERI-Cards or Ericards) were developed by the European Chemical Industry Council, cefic for short.

The aim of these cards is to supply the fire brigade with suggestions as to the initial catastrophe defence procedures to be undertaken on arriving at locations where a catastrophe has occurred and when they do not have any reliable substance-specific information at hand.

In both the MET® for the PocketPC freeware as well as the PRO version, each ERI card is clearly arranged according to the following topics:

Characteristics
Hazards
Personal Protection
Intervention Actions
First Aid
Essential Precautions for Product Recovery
Precautions after Intervention
